2001 Polo automatic seeking new home

Featured Replies

After 19 years of service, I've decided it's time to let my Y-reg Polo Automatic go. I've been offered £295 through webuyanycar, but would much prefer it to go to an enthusiast. Details below.

Make: Volkswagen
Model: Polo
Year/Reg:2001/Y824LNL
Mileage: 72500
MOT: Until August 2025
Tax: Expiring this month
Good points: Has served me well since 2005. Low mileage for year. Mechanically sound. MOT until August 2025 and this month passed Halfords health check.
Bad points: Paintwork on roof is peeling. Sound (starter motor?) when starting up - has had that issue for several years and still drives ok. Slight oil leak (but I've not been having to top up oil too frequently).
Location: Hastings
Pictures: Other pictures available on request
Price: £400 would be a fair price. Would consider offers above £250. Buyer collects.
