Steering racks mk2

Hi.

After struggling to buy a steering rack for a UK 1989 mk2, I bit the bullet and ordered from a scrap yard.

Very expensive and very worn.

Looking online, I can see LHD racks (still expensive). The LHD clearly has a different casting and is not interchangeable.

I'm considering buying a LHD rack, hoping the internals will be interchangeable with my casting. Does anyone know if this is possible?

There is a guy on ebay offering a 3d printed bush. But I am reluctant to use without knowing someone who has put real miles on one.

Are all these 'single ended' units the same? I can see different part numbers but they look visually very similar.

Lastly, does any one know if there are drawings (other than etka) giving more information on these racks?
