Hi what's the recomded clutch pedal travel before the clutch engaged ?

Only asked as I've just reinstalled the engine and gearbox after painting the engine bay. It's been off road for few years and not been driven. It feels odd in the way of to much pedal travel , but it could just because I have driven it in so long.

I did install a new clutch and If I remember correctly the clutch cable situation is self adjusting?

I like it mid-way between floor and end of travel.

6mm of free play at the lever end says the always reliable caretakerplus
