engine conversion is being done at the phirm but I'm doing bits myself i painted the bay after new mounts were put in and stripped the engine down and painted it trying 2 get involved so i no how it was all done.as for price if i hadnt had the donar car it would have probably been as cheep 2 have a 20vt in there but theres something about being able 2 say its a 1.3.cheers for you are comments will update at the weekend

absolutely amazing car, with the g in it it would be my perfect car, not a thing i would changed, good work!! I'm definately with you on g40ing it instead of puttin a big heavy 1.8 in! supercharged/1.3 - what an engine!

Does the g40 lump sit on the original engine mounts or do you have to have custom mounts made up?.

Are you using your standard driveshafts or are they custom one's.

Is it a hard conversion to do because i wouldnt pulling my 16v lump out of mine and doing a g40 swap?.

tommy

the drivers side mount is a custom made 1 a have used my 1.6 gear box casing with g40 internals so rear mount hasnt got 2 be changed and I'm using standard shafts probably will update in the not 2 distant future.

everyone else thanks for the comments just cant wait 2 get it back now and get them g smiles bk.god its bin along time
