This is what happened at the weekend!

Nice pics mate car was looking well as usual. THose wheels look so much nicer than the rondells you use to have IMO. I mean't to chat to you before I left on Saturday but never bumped into you again. What I was going to ask was do you use a g40 gasket with that rocker or a standard Mk3 one if there's a difference? Also I remember reading a while back that u have a CL driveshaft on the drivers side? I was going to say if you want a G40 one I got one you can have, I work in Leiceter BTW.

Thanks for the comments mate, I always planned on getting the 13s but I've spent sooo much on the G40 since I've had it that they just had to wait.

As far as rocker cover gaskets go I don't think that there is a G40 specific on, this is just an 8v rocker cover from VAG Parts that I'm using but it doesn't leak at all.

Not sure if its worth changing the driveshaft on my car I think with the G40 item there is 0.5mm difference in length due to the G40 struts but I'm using CL struts so I'm not sure that this'll make much difference, but thanks for the offer.

If you live in Leicester mate then you (and Alex if hes about) should pop down to the Tru-Skool VW meet at Asda, Fosse Park on the forst Wednesday of every month.
