Cheers man, really appreciate that! Yup got me some TT leather :-D So chuffed and hoefully i can get them in early next month Need to get the sub frames sorted out! And iv also got the rear seats also but iv been told they wont fit so its gonna be a retrim for the rears next year. no idea how much that will cost

And as for the boot, iv still got the same keys etc, iv just got a little switch put in next to where the rear window heater is. Jobs a good un :p

Cant get any new pics up the interior or anything as my camera is a bit fooked at the moment, but i will borrow someones. I do soooo want a GTI, but i think i'm gonna go for the conversion next year....my dad is trying to convince me to go for the GTI engine, but i want tyhe 1.8T. I want 180bhp We'll see

orite ross, i dont think they are entirely legal, but they are as legal as your gonna get when it comes to Euro style plates. They are appropriate sizing and are also reflective. I got them on a group buy on here for £25. Try plateman.com or do search on here for the plate group buy. Hope that helps dude!

Yeh i quite fancied the remote popper, but its not too much hassle having it on the inside. Doesn't bother me too much! Iv tried saving!!! and it aint working :p I just always see something i want for the car, and thats my money back to square 1!

1-2 years and i think something else will be on the cards. A 280bhp S3 does sound nice tho

Well since iv fallen so far behind, i thought it time to update my thread a lil bit

Not actually done anything to the car, but bought a few things and none of them are what i had planned a bit back.

First off, got myself some TT leather (crap pic, camera was dirty)

I'm still planning the original red rears, but gonna tint them slightly to mix it up a bit on the polo's buttox!

Also got my vinyl for the B-pillars.

Ordered a leather lupo GTI gearknob also, which aint arrived yet but looks awesome!!

Going to the garage to get the leathers, vinyl and gearknob put in so will get some pics up before i stick the steelies on for the winter.

Gonna also get some spacers ordered to fatten out the wheels. I think they are hiding a wee bit, especially the front.

oh and if you're going to space the wheels, space out the rears so they poke out a bit more than the front, will give a much better stance than the other way round!

yeh but steve, see with the rears, if i poke them out it means i'll have massive rubbing issues since the arch is slightly passed the tyre. i think i'll be able to space the rears another 10mm or so, so that the wheel is slightly out and the tyre is slightly in due to the stretch. But look at my 1st pics, do you not agree that the front needs spaced out a bit?

cant wait for the seats to go in, gonna get a wiring loom to get the bad boys heated up

hmm, after looking at the pics on page one, if you get a GTi splitter so you can lower the front more the weels will look a bit better, might not even need spacers, just a bit more of a "nose down" stance will make the front wheels look a little less "lost", it's that arch gap being larger than on the rear which throws it off a bit

yeh i know what you mean, i think i will get myself the GTI splitter. Ask for it for christmas i think along with fogs. Should look pretty good. I'll go for the nose down stance before i try spacers. Might still space the rears out 10mm to fatten the rear.

Decisions decisions eh! Most likely go for the lower and splitter option cos the spacers could cause probs for bearings etc! So wish i had gone for some phatt 15's!!!

have you got a mk5 GTI splitter on your mk4?? Yeh think i will make this my next order. Theres a lad on here selling 20mm spacers. might by them for the back. Give a shit about rubbing, get the arches rolled!
