Everything is round the right way etc. The are UK e-marked lights so i am going to use that as an excuse for the reflectors

Alright, finally got round to checking your progress and to be fair it looks f*cking awesome!!

The gti splitter looks loads better IMO and the wheels look really good to, shame about the accident though :(

Where did you get hold of your stubby mirror, I've been after 1 since i lost my old gti cos that had em and they look alot better, plus some dirty chav smashed off my mates golf door mirror and left a dirty crack in my passenger side casing so i need a new pair

No worries about the pic, I'm still in 2 minds wether to get an exhaust or not as I'm still stuck between saving for an s3 or modding mine!!

Nah i'v got delocked smooth audi door handles to go on.....will do that when she gets put into the bodyshop

audi handles will look very very nice, hopefully mine will be a lot smoother before the polo show and E38. you just having some mopping up done? have you done your arches yet?

for now, until this one blows up! Then i'll seriously consider a 6 speed lupo box! I know there is a bit of work required, but it would be worth it, as the thing seems bullet proof!

Nah i have got a few plans for the bodywork, but the guy i want to do the work cant get me in till end of july :( Thats when the arches are gettin done also

oh my god this is the 3rd time i have wrote this! Bloody computer!

Anyways, day 3 didnt quite go as we had planned......yeh the engine etc is all in, but funkin electrics!! what an absolute bastard that is! Alot of head scrathin going on but getting there! Also spent hours on end lookin for the ECU in the dash(ripped almost the whole dash out) before realising it was under the bloody scuttle tray!

Absolute nightmare.....basically today has been, not a lost casue, but i wouldnt say it was successful either! It has let us understand the electronics and what we do and dont need.

Also, recieved my zimmerman disks and mintex pads but GSF sent me out the wrong ones!!! Phoned them up and now wont get the correct ones till bloody wednesday! Pissed off at that! But, alls well that ends well :p

Anyways.....may aswell do a wee update, not of the conversion though! i'll do that as a oner! I never put a pic up of the TT leathers, so here they are! Folk have been asking for ages!

Still messing about with the loom today :rollseyes: but i think we are getting there.....having a problem with the drivers side GTI hub, we think its wrong! So investigating!

yeh your right dave, one of the mounts is different and something to do with the lupo being hydraulic and the polo being cable.....i'v yet to investigate it properly yet like, but will start soon.

question? if anyone and everyone seems to know that the POLO GTi gearbox is shite, why doesnt anyone just drop the LUPO GTi lump so you wouldnt have any problems with modifying the 6 speed gearbox to fit the POLO GTi engine? surely that would be the more sensible thing to do?
