No disrespect taken at all bud....but yeh it isnt meant to be an easy switch as i said with regards to mounts...pedal box etc etc, but i know for a fact it is possible and if i could get a 6 speed box and fitted for like less than £800 or so, it would save me going through polo boxes liek nothing on earth....i'm fairly confident the costs would outweigh for the lupo box eventually Not immediately yeh, but eventually

getting there bud.....the battery drained for some odd reason, so trying to figure out why it drained within the space of a week. And looks like i need a GTI fan also, and that is pretty much it! I need to get the car to VW and get the key coded to suit the immobilser as i think that is what is holding it back at the moment so not a huge problem! I'm just struggling to find the time at the moment! hopefully by friday, will have her fired up

I've read you are getting a stainless exhaust. Still looking to get rid my cathalyzer?? (don't know how you write this in English) But i've got a problem with the 2 Lambda's. How are you planning to go from 2 to 1 lambda?

Hi mate, The de-cat(goes in place of the catalytic convertor) that i got custom made has a nut in place so it accepts the lambda....and also the stainless steel manifold i am putting on also has a nut for the first lambda. So there you go, thats the lambda probs sorted :)

I've just really started with mine, so far i've gone for colour coded dtm mirrors and base plates,fk mesh grille,60mm lower,and I'm waiting on a flush tailgate,and finding everything drains the money! how much are the standard gti splitters?
