One if the reasons for attending is my next mod: road-legal UK pressed metal 'plates from Europl8! Being in the car park means I can leave when I want to, so I guess thats a plus.

After the 'plates (and possibly some surrounds), the next thing to address is either I.C.E. or a leather interior.

Love it Si. I would normally say put the GTi badge back on the grill, but yours actually suits it without.

Have now removed the Jap rear lights and amber side repeaters (standard parts back on). Anyone want to buy a rare set of OEM rear lights for their 6N2 Polo? Click here. Amber repeaters also up for grabs. Clicky!

Jap lights now sold (to Po*Low*), custom sub enclosure (built by Haris) sold (to Parin). I still haven't gotten around to swapping my door handles or driver's mirror, d'oh!!

EDIT: forgot to add, I am also looking in to getting a set of the original BBS RX2s and selling the Borbets in order to get the car closer to a standard look

Not much to report from the Shire I'm afraid... good news is that I still own the Polo though! Ideas of selling up haven't ever really come to anything.

Finally fitted my pressed metal 'plates which I bought at Ultimate Dubs. Now on the lookout for winter wheels to replace the Borbets then, if I'm successful, I will listen to offers on the staggered BSs!

Winter wheels secured just need to get them couriered back home, get some rubber on them and then the Borbets can go up for sale!

I'm having a bit of a battle with the seller on eBay at the moment mate, so I'll keep quiet for now in case the worst happens. I won the item but I'm having some issues organising a courier pickup as the seller tells me he is "away" and the wheels are "at a different address"... bit of a nightmare! So I've not paid him yet (until the courier is sorted). Might all fall through!!

No worries mate, I'm still to take the mirror off the car but it'll be off in a couple of weeks.

Wheels are now paid for, courier arranged for tomorrow, I should have them by Wednesday!!
