these are nice wheels man

cant help but think you should have maybe gone for some 165/50s on the 7s

the stretch would look very similar to the stretch on the 8js

when are you planning on sticking them on?

They are going on tomorrow, fingers crossed. Will have a think about the tyres, see how it goes. If it looks odd I'll look at getting some 165/50s but when off the car they look pretty similar to be fair.

Rear coilovers = stuck/seized. That is all :-(

Tried again, and failed to get the coilovers unstuck. They are solidly seized up. On the plus side, the Borbets are ON! 8-)

Pictures to follow...

use your muscles Si!!!! who you going to UD with?

I'm going to UD with Dubshire mate, but the Polo has not won enough votes to get on the outside display stand. So I'll be in the car park! :crybaby:

On the plus side, a couple of quick pictures:

I've since gotten the first application of Megs tyre gel on but it needs a proper wash and some more tyre gel before I take any more photos.

Love it si!

Any rubbage on the back?

borbet BS.... venoms for the more discerning gentleman! haha love it Si!

sits real well!

Thanks guys!

Neil, no rubbing on the back at all on main A roads and motorways. Took a detour for a few miles down a local B road (with my G60 steels weighing the back down a bit) and it touched a couple of times over bumps and changes in road surface, but after inspecting the car the tyres are unmarked. Probably need to roll the rear arches to gain a few millimetres of extra clearance. Must admit I haven't had any passengers in the back as yet... keep it that way hopefully!

Just been out and swapped my black (winter-mode) 'VW' badges for the silver (summer-mode) ones. Just needs a wash & polish now but its a bit too sunny really

looking fresh mate
