My First Car, 1987 1043cc Squareback, it cost £450, it had 43k on the clock!

Just brought an alpine headunit and some JBL Gto seris speakers to fit in the

original mounts at the back, some JBL Componant speakers for the doors,

sounds & looks awsome!

My new Saloon! I've got a Mk2 Golf 16v also, but I've never turned as many heads in any car as in this!

£300, 88000 miles.

1.3 (K&N inlet, custom exhaust, lowered 70mm by previous owner, front end damaged by current owner (dumbass))

300 miles to get a decent backdrop

I'm new here so I hope i'm posting him in the right bit here, this is my little run around, his name is Ruben I have had him for just over 2 months and think he's amazing.

I'm also new (ish - joined a while ago and never posted), and here's my Mk2, or should I say my wife's (hence my user name).

She called it Caligula (which means "Little Boot" - she's a bit into books is my wife) and it's a 1.3 Coupe S. She bought it about 11 years ago from a couple of little old ladies with 50k on the clock (the car that is), and it still only has 120K on it now.

Unfortunately it started to misbehave a year ago and has been declared SORN since Oct '06, but I couldn't bear to part with it so we've kept it with my intention to restore it some time in the future, hopefully before it rusts away...

The car next to it is my company car, which I was able to chose and spec myself (SE 1.4 TDi) and is a lot of fun . Amazing what a difference 21 years makes...
