Had the day off today and the sun was shining so got up at 9am to wash my car lol!!!

I don't normally like yellow (does photo well though) but on this polo it's lush, got to sort that misty light though fella. Nice seats too.

Yea but I'm gona buy a Gti splitter and get that colour coded some time in the summer, I've got tons of ideas!! but am running out of money lol 4 the summer i want:

* smooth bumpers

* sub put in/amp installed again- but properly this time lol!

* my screen put in - and make it compatiable with sat nav, t.v, dvd etc...

* windows tinted!!

Most people just screw their amp into the back of the seat but a proper install is much better imo. if you have the time. either make a flase floor and poke the amp out through it (i used to have this setup, but the amp gets scratched and cant be covered unless you start getting into fans etc etc) or what i have now which is a false wall on the passenger side of the boot with the amp incorparated into/onto it, gives good cooling and doesnt get in the way, look alright too

Oh cool yea thats sounds good actually!! But i think ill get a proper install in the boot...should have just done that first time round!! My next door neighbour fitted one of those sound surpressors/compressors (which ever one it is) and the annoying noises have almost gone, so i can live with it for now. I'll be asking you guys what sub to get when i have the funds hehe I'm thinkin a JL one

OMG what a day!!! i was in VW from 8.50am til 12.20!!! jus waiting for them to fix my f'in car!! the bloody "fuel emissions" light came on the other day, so i took it to have a diagnostics run on it (which was £50 for half an hour!! for starters) then they told me that i needed my oxygen sensor replaced!!! what the hell is a "oxygen sensor" anyways? and what does it do? that set me back £270!!!1 and they also told me that my breaks and discs needed replacing all round!!! 80% worn and heavily lipped their record sheet reads looks like I'm gona have to hold back on the mods for now til i can pay all that off, and pay off my cambelt at £280, then get the brakes done

oh dear, i have no sympathy, I'm on my 3rd mk5 polo and I've been hit with it all 3 times :)

i'm on my 1st and hopefully not my last polo, i love it. sum1 scrapedthe back of mine after two weeks damn pompey drivers. i wasnt even aware till the next morning, i wish i was there to have a go. o well an excuse for some mods in the future smoothed bumbers lol

I'm after some pressed metal plates now (not the black ones, cos i no they r illegal) does anyone know a cheap website where i can pick myself up a pair?

And a where do people get there front Gti splitters from? I'm talking as cheap as possible here

really? and they come with your reg printed rite? how much we talkin?

is the rear plate glued on or sumthin cos i cudnt see the lil screw holes the other day, unless i jus wasnt looking properly lol

it's all upto you, you can either screw it in or use the sticky pads, if you choose to smooth the front bumper, I'd recommend getting rid of the holes for the number plates.

Well having gone to the audio shop yesterday and being told it'll cost me £250 to get my screen put in, i came home a bit disheartened. But woke up this morning and decided to give it a good go myself..and....i did it!! lol i actually cant believe it!! hehe, ok so its not working properly yet, as there is nothing going into it except power but, i can sort that out in a few weeks, the main thing is that its in the car with power. Here it is

Having seen a recent discussion on GTi splitters it seems that the best thing to do is get them from your local dealer for just under £50. Eurocarparts are cheaper but haven't had them in stock for ages. Otherwise its VAG parts but they cost a packet to post.
