Hello mate,

Thanks for your comments, yea i absolutely love it!!! Am so pleased with it :-D

re- the badges - the back one came black, and the front one i bought silver and got sprayed black (only cost a fiver :) )

re- keeping it clean, i just wash it as and when i can, only work 9 days a fortnight thanks 2 my flexible working helps, but using good products helps too. I use Meguriers (sp?) shampoo..its £15 a bottle but does a great job....and smells great lol

re - and the Gti grill i got from ebay, they go for about £25, but well worth it

Thanks mate... i use autoglym (one shampoo and 2 waxes) it takes me about 6-7 hours on my own to have the car spotless... dont know how you do it mate... so exactly how long did it take you to find the colour concept coz i was originally looking for a colour concept and couldnt find one in black and along came my TDI!!! took me about 5 months to get a decent one...

Cheers mate.. i use autoglym products (shampoo and 2 waxes) it takes me about 6-7 hours to get the car spotless... dont know how the hell you do it lol. I'm just wondering exactly how long it took you to get hold of your car when you bought it coz i looked for a colour concept in black for about 5 months before i bought mine.. funny thing i wasnt looking for a tdi, just came across it and it seemed to be a smart choice... btw the car looks crazy.. i thinks its a shame the standard colour concept wheels arent a little wider, then they'd fill the arches nicely!

Well to be honest my sister found it for me, she was off work one day and knew i wanted a mk5, looked on autotrader was emailing back and forth and she showed me the yellow one, i was like urgh!! but then said it had heated leather buckets and that did it for me, so it only really took about a day or two to find.

Cheers

Car is looking great Tom, keep up the good work! Side repeaters fit in really well with the black-and-yellow theme :-D

indeed we r lucky....plans for te future, short term - Gti Splitter (going ont within 2 weeks) maybe window tints

more longer term - coilies etc hehe

I'm running JBL Components with a JBL amp, hoping to get a JL sub soon, I got a mate of mine to do it all for me, not sure where he ran the cable thru, think it was the same as my alar. If you look under the bonnet near the middle of the fire wall, theres a gromit there, think he ran it thru there, and cables are running down the door sills like u said

Cheers mate get pics of urs up
