Hi tom, have you lowered yours yet?

if so how much by? not sure how much to do mine!

Dont mean to sound rude but doesnt it look lowered, or have you read my other posts where I have said that I didnt do, and therefore I dont know how low it is? Sorry if that sounded sarcastic (didnt mean - and please dont take it that way).

Well thanks to my accident nothing is gona happen a part from repairs for a few months i guess, but I do have some new audio kit to go in (bit annoying when its all sitting looking at you) and just got a black front badge from Si Gti. So I'm trying to keep positive

Sorry to hear bout the accident mate! How bad was it? Perhaps its a good chance to get the bumpers n side rubstrips smoothed.....

how did you fit the screen in, did you have to buy some special adapters, is it a dvd player, I have got the same system as you, I want to hook up a screen but i have no clue how to do it

does the stereo work as a dvd player aswell?

Hello mate na, its nothing special like that, to be honest it was just sittin in there with nothing plugged into it, as i hadnt got round to doing anything with it.

The stereos not a DVD player either I'm afraid, it does come as a DVD player buts it about £600

LOL nope i doubt it... I thought they may have sent your car to some approved garage and you could maybe give the repair guy a bit of cash on the low.....

ha, nah I wanted VW to do it as it wasnt my fault lol, my sis was wivout her car for 4 months when it went to an "approved" garage! Bunch of pikeys working on it, the insurance company actually told us to goa need get the car back!! She had a dent in the door, from where someone let a trolley crash into, which they kindly kicked in!!! Making it 10 times worse

Got the car back today and I'm really pleased with the owrk they did....apart from the petrol cap not sittin quite right....which Mr Trett pointed out....I filled it up with petrol and didnt even notice lol!! But I might pop back and see em about it, ill post some more pics up soon, not that you'll see alot

Here's a few pics, the first I've taken since getting it back, just been washed and clayed, although it doesnt look that shiny, dont think I did it properly, was my first attempt after all

all u need to do now is fix you are alloys u kerbwhore, should have waited till tomorrow we coulda clayed it properly oh well i showd you how to do it so u couldnt have been far off =]
