Been trying to find out how to make my car a 100bhp rather than a 75bhp and I had this info back from a member in germany...

my english is very bad ....

the difference between the 75ps 1.4 16v´s and the 100ps is not only the ecu. The 100ps ones got an aluminium "ansaugrohr" like the old 1.4 16v AFH and the throttle bodie is bigger. The 100ps ones have a "Grauguss" (steel) crank case the 75ps ones got one from Aluminium. The crankshaft from the gti an the 100ps versions got 8 counter balances-->75ps only 4. the camshaft´s are different...

because of the aluminium crankcase you can´t change the crankshaft.vw say´s loosing the screws holding the crankshaft will destroy the structure of the crankcase?!?

But the 75ps ones are good to tune. fit 2 "schrick" camshafts the polo gti "ansaugrohr" inkl. the throttlebodie and you will geht close too 90-100ps (inkl a good chip for the ecu..)

how much and where did you get the angel eyes and side repeaters. was the install simple. ie do it yourself or a garage job

the angel eyes came from german sweedish and cost £177 with delivery. They are the only official uk distributor. You can get them cheaper on ebay but not from the uk. It works out cheaper and all units are switchable from LHB to RHD via a lever.

Fitting was pretty simple but you will need a haynes manual to let you know how to do it. My mate whos a mechanic did mine and it took him about an hour. The front bumper needs to be removed to do it but is alot easier done than it sounds. If you like I could ask my mate for a quote to fit them for you?

waiting till i get my summer job coz i have debt to pay off. the car costs 220 per month so extra work is needed to get modifications. 1st is the gti grille and since it only cost £20 it works out well

Thats not true, theres loads of uk companies who do them. Venom, rimstyle where i got mines, amongst others!

god knows, mines ended up being £232 delivered with the upgrades etc, but the dipped beam is still fuckin crap. Needs HID's

i got FK ones from Rennsport (google it) they were £200 delivered i think, but yea the dipped beam is poo

Done a bit of research and there called techno-style lexus lights and they are available from quite a few places there a link below for one I found on ebay.

Its been cleaned 4 times and treated 3 times and theres still crap comming off it!

Looks daft! arse is nice and low but the front is as high as a kite!
