UPDATE!!!!!!!!

I Was having a bad time figuring out how to wire up the 1.2 loom too the git loom and it was just taking us far to long

so after a few phone calls to ma main man Vick and his bro bobby they put me on to a winner.

Bobby hooked me up with one of his pals James .who is one of the nicest guys of this day .

he gave me a full uncut gti loom and dash for free yes free as well as a set of rear lights bloody made up lol :D bobby also gave me allthe gti dash pannels :D

so with the new loom at hand me my pops and mate beaker started getting this car moving forward

we had to take a few steps back which included taking the bonnet, scuttle tray and and taking all the loom we had wired up back out :lol: here's some pics

NEW LOOM AND DASH FROM A CAR THAT HAD ONLY DONE 600 MILES

020120091589.jpg

starting to take the old loom and dash out

030120091590.jpg

dash all out had to drop all the steering rack down and remove all the heater matrix

030120091593.jpg

so there's both lined up next to each other and i find that there a few things changed .The heater matrix isn't the same so it had air con and mine ain't so we took the air con rad out of the heater matrix swapped a few parts and jobs a goo-den

030120091596.jpg

030120091595.jpg

030120091594.jpg

all the loom now fitted there's a few lose end ill need to sort this week but its getting close

040120091601.jpg

fitted the gti rear lights .there not my cup of tea but the loom works with them so its easier for now

040120091598.jpg

we have power :D:D we fitted the 1.2 bat and seen what happened and all the lights are working as they should and the heaters work  best feeling so far i jumped about abit was feckin amazing and i ain't even tried to start it at this point

040120091602.jpg

040120091604.jpg

so i braved the turn of the key and it didn't start but i knew that any ways

The clocks need coding to the key as there new but there was life there. the battery isn't good and it died

so the sager continues next weekend with some MORE luck it'll be done very soon

got a new ecu clocks and key so it should start when there fitted woop

thanks for reading
