I know, I'll just stick to my original set of clocks and keep the other one for spares.

£15 hey, that sounds really good as long as they are absolutely spot on I know the lockwood ones would be as they have strict quality control an development takes a bit of time.

I had a set of indiglo dials that were developed for a classic Mini which took the best part of 6months from the initial idea to completion but are spot on.

Can I ask what company you're going to use for development?

Also I e-mailed John at 2modified this morning but haven't had a reply yet. I think I'll call 2modified to see what happening with the proposed dial sets.

Its a company called dialkits 4 you, there online based

if you are going to order them just let me know, since i am very interested!!

I had a look at Dials4u and found that they are 'self-produced' dials printed on thick glossy card I think it's a home DIY job.

I'm not too sure I'd bother and I think I'll wait for a set of Lockwood ones which I believe are printed on plastic.

See my later post on the development

OK Lad and Ladies,

Because I want these done I am willing to take my car off the road for 2 weeks and send my dials to Lockwood to get the white dials developed myself

I spoke to Lockwood this afternoon and minimum tooling quantity is 10 this equates to a price of £35+vat which is a little pricey however, if we get 15 tooled initially the price will be about £30 all in (which incidentally is £5 lower than Lockwoods RRP)!

I will get firm prices as soon as I've got numbers of people who want these as I will need to have a quick turnaround as it's my car that will be off the road as I will have no clocks!

Thanks,

Mahbs

WILL WE HAVE TO PAY DIRECTLY TO LOCKWOOD???

i would have a white set i just need to find out how mine is illuminated, its the dark green dash which i think is backlit

WILL WE HAVE TO PAY DIRECTLY TO LOCKWOOD???

No, I think I'll take deposits of £10-15 as soon as I have 15-20 on the list via Paypal.

Postage and packaging to Malta shouldn't cost much and will be at cost.

The dials will be sold for whatever Lockwood charge me and you pay for the postage on top of that which shouldn't be much as it is a very light item.

The turnaround to produce these will be about 2 weeks, which I'm glad as it's my set of clock I'll be sending :paranoid:
