Hey Folks... Was hoping you could help, I dont really know anything about tyres all I know is I want them streched as much as possible without it looking too silly!

What size of tyres would I need for... 7x15 et30 ???

And whats the best make of tyres etc?

How much would they cost for a set of 4?

Hi Guys, I have just bought some Borbet A's at last for the 6N :-D i would like to have a stretch on them but i do not know what profile to go for or how wide,

The Wheels are 7j wide by 15" ET25, Could anyone please tell me what tyre is reccomended for a bit of a stretch, i just want a litte stretch not anything to silly,

Sorry people newbie not reading things?!?! or i cant read?? would 195 40 be more strech?? or what would you recomend for the front they r 7 j?

No ones mentioned pressures, as a lot of peeps have asked already. Do you just run the same pressure as normal, or higher?

i put a few exta PSI in usually! running about 34-36psi all round

I've I've been looking at a set of borbet t rims.8jwide and 14inches for a polo mk4 6n.going t lower it on spax coilovers.65mm drop all round.i was looking at the tyre options on the site. the lowest profile they had was 185/55/14 avon tyres. will this be a decent stretch? and has anybody got a pic please.thanks?

195/40-16 for the 7,5's and 215/35 for the 9's. You can fit 9-16 ET 25 on all four corners if you roll the arches properly

You need a tyre that is at least 195 wide, 185/55 is not advisable

Rolled arches is a must on a Mk 3, 195/45-14 on a 7-14 is not stretched

I think the TÜV rating is 6 or 6,5. Just a guess as you cant fit 175/60-13 to any wider than 6" rims

165/45 or 165/50-15 on a 8-15 is seriously unsafe. Running it without accidents is more down to luck than skills..............

iv got 175/50/13 on my 13x8 on rear and they are stretched but got the same tyre on my 13x7 on front and they arent streched can u get 165/50/13 tyres so i can stretch them on the front. so they look like the rear.

i have a set of polished teardrop alloys from a mk2 golf. the size is 7" x 14" with et38. I want to fit these wheels to my girlfriends mk4 polo. what tyres should i put on to get a decent stretch, fit in the arches, not make it look like a dune buggy and also be safe? (her dads a mechanic for VW so everything has to factory - NOT - hahaha!) reading all about the tyres sizes got me confused. please help.!!!
