As I'm from Basingstoke, who did u get to smooth the boot and how much diod it cost?

I'm guessing u hav a solanoid kit to pop it open now?

I've done it all myself but it still needs a bit more done cos i smoothed it and it looked fine! then i sprayed the primer and still looked smooth etc then the silver whent on and i could notice were the badge, handle where! but its only cost £40 all in from wire to paint!!

I want to get mine done but I have a feeling I'm gonna have to pay a fortune, if you or anyone has an idea of where i can have it done for quite cheap please let me know.

when doing a flushed boot it is wise to save up and get a decent job done, cheap jobs are always CRAP unless you know for a fact that the bodyshop is good

the boot as its such a big area will show any little inperfections so you really do need a good bodyshop to carry out the job as a cheap job would look CRAP when the filler starts to sink etc.

once again I'm not too keen on the all silver at the front, and them lights would look better on the back if the were tinted black...

yeah he is right..and even if u are a female..still change them :p

unlike everyone else is saying i actually like the silver grilles at the front, matches the car, i dont mind th lights as they blend in also, and i actually like the wipers too, the only thing i dont like is the playboy numberplate but i dont see a problem with it if u like it.

thats well good but there plain..try find some with wofburg on them or sumin...

cars just gone in to get boot smoothed off properly and the dents in drivers back wing! hopefully it will look spot on!

Bad points, Way too silver at the front! Needs the black to break things up. Its a bit arse endy. Raise the back slightly but drop the front more and it'll be an ace stance!!

I reckon spray the rear lights red and mask off the fog light. And less silver at the front. As you have those new rims are the other 1's for sale??? PM me if they are.

smooth the bumpers, but i agree the front grills need to be black. Also why are you hiding the fact its a gti, stick those badges back on.
