This is the thing I'm always banging on about. Honestly, takes 10-15 mins to do both sides with this. Doesn't damage the paint or your hands either. Doing it any other way is just a waste of time imo. Specially since most people own a drill and the fudge wheels is only a fiver.

yes it is a bitch to do!!!! took me three hours using hot water and sewing thread doubled over a few times (ran out of dental floss very quickly) and then picked the glue off using a hair dryer and tar remover to wipe the bits left on, got a good result but not worth the blisters! I should've got an eraser wheel! you can even get them on ebay!!, but I'm skint so did it the hard way

you may well find water marks on older 6ns, I found a few but not too bothered as I'm getting the doors sprayed anyway because theres a bit of rust and some kind person keyed my car!!!

how do you peel the strips off on the 6n2.. do you just poke something under it and try yo pry it off. gonna have a crack in these holidays.

yeah i tried the petro, meths thing, and heartagram has it sorted with that tool, does it in minutes, dont even entertain peeling etc

I actually went to a body shop the day I did my rub strips and asked them about getting them removed this way, but the guy advised that it would burn the paint.

The same guy is renowned for talking shit, but is there any truth in what he said, do these wheels damage the paint at all?

i guess if you hold it in the same place for a while with abit f pressure ye sits possible, but i would worry about it

if you keep the wheel moving then it doesnt do any damage to the paint
