It's a nice looking car! He's done a nice job, there!

However... this won't work:

I bet you that fitting the stock air filter would produce more power than this setup. Yes, it may have a bit of pipe blowing cold air on it, but I promise you it really won't work that well - that air filter is still going to suck in a lot of warm air. The better option would be to put the air filter inside a chamber with enough space around it for the air to pass all around the air filter, with a cold feed air pipe running into it, completely sealing the air filter from the engine bay.

That aside, I do like it. Top job!

looks really nice that like. love the wheels. just the rollcage lets it down for me. tell him to take the shitroen and saxo badge off, will set the back end off nicely

also too true about the air filter. my bro has a mk1 leon and he welded a steel pipe to come off the inlet along and down past the battery to the bottom of the wheel arch behind the bumper, saved him £180 i think he said

btw, what is the beer can for, I've seen it done on cars before and wondered about it?

Really liking this - Always going to have a soft spot for the mk2 Vtr (Had one as my first car - loved the way it handled!!)
