since the polo I've had a merc coupe, then mk3 golf gti and now i have a Bmw Cabriolet

so I'm happy for the time been.

Heres my 1982 polo saloon 1.3 GL, 1 family owned before myself with 55,000 miles,

every mot service history etc.. std interior apart from 11" steering wheel and chrome fittings

I've lowered it and is sitting on ats classics on competition yokos, fitted an oldskool boot-rack,

I've had a custom made splitter put on and cleaned up the engine bay by repainting

and a few chrome parts fitted, chrome struts, red tinted rear lights, brand new originals going back on soon though,

etched door handles, porsche badges, gear knob, dust caps and s/wheel centre.

oldskool seat beads, cd, dvd player 7" flatscreen, lots of security.

Having a bit more paint soon, maybe an old english white roof.

hey mate, really like your car. just bin looking at it in the members pic bit.

i picked up some 13/7 ats classics 2day for my loon and fitted them along wit new suspension.

i was thinking about getting 8" for the rear, which i see is what youv done and was wondering if there

was much arch work involved in getting them to fit as my 7s are already nearly at the arch without spacers or anything.

I'm not trying to copy your car but the way your wheels sit is the exact same way i want mine 2 sit, take it as a compliment lol

anyway, if you could give me any info on work you had 2 do to get the wheels to fit, what size spacers if any you got on to make both

front and rear stick out that would b great.

No it's a early mk2 Loon standard grill quite hard to get hold of now.

If anyone hears of one for sale, or got one they're willing to sell, then give me a buzz.

No it's a early mk2 Loon standard grill quite hard to get hold of now.

Couldn't believe it when i heard of how hard it is to get hold of these now. I found one of these models in the scrap yard about 4 years ago, all i salvaged was the front and rear bumpers, wish i'd of bought the whole car now

What tyres are they mate ? They look absolutly superb ! Dont look cheap mind but do look the nuts streached on a 8 and 7J

FFS, why is it nobody seems to read through these threads before posting? Fucking happens all the time on here!

TBH, I don't like some of the modifications but it is in beautiful condition nonetheless. Respect must go to Dickie for the build standard and paintwork, even if it was an excellent condition car to start with. Lets just hope Karl can keep it in the same condition.
