I don't know... Me and my dad are doing what would probably be the strangest conversion ever at the moment. We're trying to get a 1972 Series 3 2.25 Land Rover to run on bike carbs, got some huge carbs from a 1400 Suzuki and the building stage is great fun. More than just slotting an engine into a bay or pulling it out, it's the satisfaction of getting everything setup and working right which I don't feel you get with EFI etc. Sure, setting up the turbo would be interesting, but I prefer a real induction roar as opposed to just relentless sucking from in front of me. Well, maybe I'd prefer some relentless sucking, but that's not in the context of this post.

I was referring to the 1.6 16v motor no boost involved,

Hence my input regarding the EFI. As far as I'm concerned, a 1.6 16v swap is just... wait a minute this is a Mk3 here. Mounts would have to be fabricated and stuff along with a fair amount of wiring etc. Dunno what I'm on about lol for some reason I was thinking Mk4.

I'm gonna back the 16v swap then
