Just wondering if anyones running these on their g's,and how easy is it to order off sls tuning?? I've heard mixed opinions on them.

I'm currently running my second set of PSD toothies and fancy a cheaper change!! They're a bit more noisey due to the squarish teeth on the belts apparently but I'm not to sure of what the qualitys like??

what do you reckon???

What's wrong with your current PSD toothies?

nothing at the moment, just looking for an alternative before i need a new set.

I've never had them down as a disposable item? What has happened to your previous sets that you expect to happen to this one?

I do a fair bit of driving on loose gravel surfaces, stones and grit get caught up between the teeth and belt. This chips and pits the pulleys(and kills belts). The alternator pulley on my last set developed serated edges on the teeth, which really ain't to good for belt life!!

My current set is barely worn after 5000 miles but i would like a spare set incase.

The thing that I'm interested in is the quality of the SLS kit, it doesnt look as tough as the PSD kit which is top quality.PSD kits can be hard to come by when PSD run out of stock.

Ahhh, I see. I was wondering how you went about killing a set of toothies, now I know.

i know it wouldnt be easy but have you looked at making any sort of belt cover to stop the stones going into the belt? if you could make something up for £100 it'd be cheaper than another set of pulleys and you might never have to buy any ever again after that

For those of you that are a bit old school, one of the guys on the polo G40 mailinglist had these fitted and it ate belts for breakfast. Turneded out that they did not align. One of the pulleys was 3mm further out than the others
