Does this look ok? Induction kit fitted

Featured Replies

Just had pipercross induction kit fitted, replacing the standard. Should there be a gap on the top of the manifold or should there be something attached or blocking it? Please help. Car is driving excellent but just want to ensure nothing stops it running.

The gap on top of the manifold? I'm guessing you just mean the circular connection on the manifold heat shield. Nah that's fine like that, it's designed to pipe warm air into the inlet when the engine is started from cold. GTs/NZs seem to run fine without them but it can be sketchy on spi models where they can suffer from "carb icing".

Wicked thanx you saved me some worry

get rid of the little canister underneath the filter!

Maybe an idea if you loosen the tie wrap from around the white vac line.
