I'm tinting my all clear taillights this week with us automotive night shades. I'm also making an custom wiring loom for the headlights so they feed directly off the battery via 2 relays and a set of fuses. I want to tint the headlights but obviously its going to reduce the amount of light output. I can fit 100w H4 Bulbs instead of the 'legal' 55w bulbs.

Can i get around this by tinting the headlights as a single or two coats should reduce the light output sufficiently to not dazzle drivers with dipped beams

has anyone done this
