thermostat GRRR

Featured Replies

so my polo starts getting warm. and i decide to change the thermostat as i reckon it could be cos of that.. anyway i get one and when i go to fit it. it wont stop leaking,

does the rubber ring go on the back of the thermostat (spring side) or the front of it (rad pipe side?) cos no matter how much i tighten it - keeps leaking.

help me please!!

btw subsequently i think i have a blocked rad maybe, but i have removed it I'm gonna give it a good flushing on the weekend.
