Wiper motor noisy Can you oil them?

My mk3 front wipers are very noisy. Its not the blades as I've tried em with the wipers of the windscreen.

Is there any way to oil the motor/s to quiten the noise as when I'm sat in a traffic jam in the rain the noise drives me up the wall.

The wipers were always quiet but the car has been stood idle for over a year recently so wondered if the motors could have rusted slightly.
