Featured Replies

OK well Iv got 14" BBS rims, 6j wide.

Being 6j i cant really expect a stretch....well that was untill i saw a photo of a 155,55 tyre on a 6j rim from a birds eye view angle.

I've been looking at these too. came up with the same result as you. I'd appreciate any advice as well. would these federals be ok to use?

The one's in the picture are Nankang's Ultra Sport NS-II. Didn't feel too bad even on a track day for beeing that skinny.

They were ordered through the local version of the mytyre.co.uk, but mytyres does not list them anymore. Federals were the other choice, but at the time more expensive. Not much to choose from..

Do you have a picture of the side profile? I wonder what they'd look like on an 8 j!!?

Here's one: Side profile.

Edit: The treadprofile on nankangs is quite sharp on the shoulder of the tire. A tire with a round shoulder might look a little better, especially if you put on on the 8", which might be a bit extreme, but worth trying in my book ;)
