Can anybody help?

Has anyone on here got a picture of their MK3 Coupe lowered 60/40 on 15 inch rims

And what are your experiences with speed ramps,everyday driving etc

I had my square lowered that much on those wheels for a day. Seemed okay, I normally ran 13s with low profile tyres and it used to catch everywhere. On the 15s it looked lower cause the arches were more filled and it didn't destroy the underside of the car as much.

i ran 60/60 and it caught on the front, so i used smaller width tyres to cure it. didnt scuff that much but it did wen people were in the back

I have no clue what the ET is though mate.

but iv had to smack the lip in on the back arches, it somtimes catches just need to smack the lip in a bit more or get slight thinner tyres instead of 195.

I must have something wrong tho as the back rims are on 10mm spacers to clear the springs by 1.5mm !! I'm guessing thats something to do with ET ah welll its all good just dont have too many peeps in the back !Unless they are mighty fine ladies !!!

Your car looks sweet on 60/40 i shall be gettting mine down to 60/40 this afternoon so will hopefully be able to get some pics up .

I cant wait now .. diddnt think you could get Mk3's down that low on 15"

I have got some 165/50/15's and rolled arches .. Maywell be able to go a lil furthar ...

What ofset are your wheels ? I only have 5Mil spacers on the back ..

what you done with the back arches look smart?????

@ StevieDavison..... thanks mate :-D ... you also gave me a possitve comment when my thread was up just after i lowerd it in August cheers..... yeah didnt realise my self how low it could go with 15's till i got them fitted !

Back can still go lower as its adjustable and the rims should tuck in..... oh man i have no clue what the offset is i aint on ball with that, all i know is that they came of a mk4 polo ( had no spacers on that n silver in them days lol) and had to get 10mm spacers to fit onto mine..........should look good when u drop it dude !

Mate i havnt done much with the arch at all ! this is what i did, hammerd the lips back a pickey way of rolling arches lol also had to cut the plastic trim that sits just before the bumper starts(this is miniture mud guard looking thing what ever it is !) just ripped that off saw down the middle of it smacked the lip in where the plastic trim lived then stcuk the trim back on with like some hardcore trim tape glue and zip ties .... hasnt fallen off yet lol as i say i still gotta smack the lip in a little further heading up towards the front of the car.. but i aint done anything else to the arch like flaring or ought !

Down 60/40 on HnR Cup Kit, currently no scrubbage at all even with 15mm rear spacers (rear's look lost with out them).

6J rims with 165/50's, potenza's seem to be working for a lot of peeps running 15's right now.

Tyre choice is key for going low on large wheels.

^ Great looking example of a Polo on 15's, looked reet good at Polo Show '07.

Here are my 165/50/15s on a 6J Mine is only lowerd 40-40 atm and it has nothing in the back so is nose down ..

Mad arch gap .. eeeeekkk ...

I think i am going to fork out for coilies as i think i can go furthar than 60 / 40 probabbly a fair bit too .. I have rolled arches and 5Ml spaces on the rear at the min .

Dont know if this will help these are 14's with big tyres. i've got these on until I pass my test but even just movin my car about the drive it scrubs. I prefer smaller wheels but 15's might be cool

I think its 60/40 either that or 60/60
