finally got it lowered after alot of confusion with the springs but all sorted now :)

right thought it was about time i pulled my finger out and put some pics up from gti spring festival. Front ride height has now been sorted and looks loads better

Right i haven't updated this for a few months so thought it was about time since gti spring fest this year i have added a new splitter

Then it was time for a trial fit with the new rimmage

Thanks to my best mate for coming over and letting me try his wheels

Time to bite the bullet and put my wheels on I went for nice polished lip and black centres ( all of which i must add was done by hand by my dad )

Thought It was time to start a build thread now that I have bought a G40 engine at last

Went all the way to Maidstone to collect it and came home with everything bar the shell

First thing that had to be done was to get rid of the old seats and replace with the comfy G40 ones.

Next was to start looking at parts i had bought home with me ( there was loads ) and dad was not impressed :(

I decided cos I’m not mechanically minded and seeing as my dad had already done an MI16 engine conversion on his Peugeot 205 that he would be the best bloke to help me of which i am very grateful

Second job was to get the engine onto a stand ready to strip down

Nothing seems to be wrong with the engine but gonna strip it down replace parts and make it look shiny :)

Then we took off the gearbox , supercharger , inlet and throttle body.

Head removed and everything is looking good so far

abit more progress have now de-wedged the throttle body and must say things are not looking to bad for an engine that has done 167,000 miles

Finally got round to buying parts have spanked £340 on this lot now we can start to build it back up

pure mintyness i dont think I've seen a coupe this clean and in such good condition :) keep up progress with conversion mayte looks sick

DAM! this is really nice, i love the simplicity of this on the BBS and it mega clean. Combine that with a freshly built g lump and its gonna be perfect. definately keeping an eye on this
