"crunchy" clutch feel? any ideas??

Hey all,

Driving home today I noticed that my clutch was acting up a little. the only way i can describe it is that as i change gear on the lift up its quite "gravily". I seemed quite crunchy, not audible just felt it through the pedal.

Does anyone know what this could be? I think the car had a new clutch and clutch cable not so long ago- its quite new so I'm not 100% on that though!
