Glad to hear you got the Mk4 up and running though - how much did you have to spend on it to get it on the road? (without tax :p)

Also, seen as I'm obviously a total novice, for future it is cool just to come for an ogle, or are you supposed to have something modified/tuned/otherwise?

So far i've spent £350 and that includes buying the car and

getting it transported down from Lix Toll garage near Killin.

Just bring yourself along to the next meet....It makes no

difference in your car is modified or not and besides....

none of us bite........except Toby that is.....

Hehe, ok, I'll do that, maybe by the next one I'll have some ideas at least. Right now the only advice i've got is 'lower is 80mm' but seen as this is coming from a guy with the smoothest golf i've ever seen that can't even get over a speed bump I think i'll leave it for now.....

Haha, 80mm on a 9n would probably just get rid of half the arch gap

If anyone fancies bringing along some 14" or 15" steels then I'd be interested in perhaps a straight swap (if they have tyres) for my absolutely mint Mk4 Polo 13" alloys, as in the pic below...

I've got work till 6:30...won't be home and fed till 7. Would be 8:30 before I got there and then I have to be early tomorrow for uni. Would have liked to have seen the turbo as well.
