Chris I'm running 200's cos' that's what I had in the barn off Paul's old F1000 car.

To be honest the springs are fine, not too harsh on the rough, and perfect on the tar (zero understeer, without being Pug 205 loose at the back).

It's just that the dampers won't take the abuse, I killed both fronts on the PK Memorial in the summer and they were only on their 3rd event.

I may have to look into getting some Billy's.

the billys are reasonably price aswell, £180 the pair, compared to avos which are £120 each new. camber is where its at

right then 2 weeks till the rally and still alot to do but she is o so close now.

yep over 2 years now i started ion september 2006. but its been worth the wait to see her this close.

I've Had an entry list and I'm car 51 ut of 76 and 6th way in the upto 1400cc class for the rally on the 28th of dec i cant wait now :-D

right then people very exciting stuff she is sitting on her own wheels and has a windscreen and wipers and basically all is left is to paint the bonnet and boot and set up the castor and camber then go testing. here are some pics

why u disapointed with the wheels she is 4 inches wider than standard overall and i cant get smaller wheels over the brakes and wheels get hamerd in ralling so dont want to but a nice set of wheels but will for shows.

right best xmas present ever had her on the road today at 1st she didnt handle almost wrote her off after 2 years of building but once we sdjusted the suspension and tracing she was all good and wow its been worth the weight. didnt have time to paint the boot and bonnet in the same colour and as the boot was black the bonnet went black to here are some pics

i so love it the acceleration is wow the handeling is amazing and the brakes are spot on. love it love it love it cant wait for sunday now bring on the challangers haha

looks well mate, and will look far better with colour coded boot and bonet. Would look ace on a set of compomotive 5 spokes in white, or some weller steels

best xmas present is an understatement, kudos for sticking with it mate, i was heartbroken whne you were listing it for sale and was trying to coax my mum into giving me a huge loan to buy it. so glad to see it on the road and cant wait to see it at the shows.

no point in sticking some stupid euro wheels on it and rallying it lol, like heg says far better just getting some dope wheels for shows and having some wheels that will actually give a decent amount of traction on varying surfaces
