another reson not to drive a nova

I bought my wife a nice diesel Punto (she chose it!) to learn to drive in - borrowed it to go to work one sunday morning and did this to it:-

Heading around the right hander doing about 45-50, rear end stepped out, full oppsite lock and put my foot down, but it wouldnt pull out, hit the wall first with the front then spun the rear end into the wall a little further along = one knackered Punto!

Total write off! Bent both front chassis legs about 28 degrees out of alignment and the boot floor was rippled. Total cost of reapir would have been in excess of £5000 for a new shell! So got full pay out and went and bought something decent!
