i rolled a 6n at 90mph....got cut out etc but never even seen it

a couple of years later i bough a 205 gti....a week later i lost just about flat out and did this....

a year later...infact last week....a friend of mine stopped a nova in the middle of the road on a blind bend.....this is the result....

hi, my car is no comparison to any of the above crashes but it still a great loss to me. this only happened a month ago.

i now have purchased a new shell to fit the GT engine too.

but my 7day old borbet T were in some state. only two of them were damaged badly, but i try see the possitive side now i can get two 8J wide wheels to replace it.

i was traveling up the dual at 70 when overtaking a bus he decided he wanted in my lane... and being in his blind spot and not looking over his shoulder he decided to pull right into me and i panic'd his the kirb , slammed my brakes on and it pulled me to the left and there was an island with high kirbs and the way i hit it i just went up on my side and slid into bushes...

now my GT that i spent a year and four months puttin on the road lasted 1week and 4 days. ironic? just shit !

ok well my mate went on holiday and asked me to look after his car!! pug 106 gtaiiiii

i actually was not going fast slowed down at roundabout was well wet!! as i was going straight on lol i hit diesel on the road and just kept spinning no matter what i did lol

the person in the first pic is my mate trying to move the car!!!! and there was a passenger! big goug out of his arm

Rolling 1 car would make me think about my driving style, if I rolled 2 cars I'd be thinking about getting more lessons on how to drive. Let alone the fact you've crashed another car!!!

Technik- I actually remember a thread about that crash on here (when it was porka) back in the day.

so do i and its still as shocking now as it was back then.

its only metal though and its good your still here to tell the tale

i know fine well how to drive....yeah iv overcooked my limits a coupe of times but i put that down to idiocy/lack of experience....iv never hit another car(bar the nova which wasnt my fault)...nor have i ever hurt myself or anybody else in an accident....yeah I'm not the best of drivers and iv had my fair share of accidents.....but without sounding big headed.....i know what I'm doing and I'm a better driver than most of the clowns on the road

i rolled the polo shortly after passing my test....i admit i drove it like an idiot and didnt have the experience

the 205 was a diffrent kettle of fish....after the spending a year driving slowly as i had points and was para id lose my licence,i went out and treated myself to a 205 gti....i got cocky...i live on an island and drive some shitty roads...one of which i used to hit a hump every day in my nova....at 90 mph my nova used to leap off the ground......however at 120 mph in a 205 it didnt like it.....this was me being a fud....not used to the power blah blah

the sunny was shear accident...not my fault....i came round a corner to see my mates car.....tried to stop had nowere to go.....it was the nova,trees or a 50 ft drop....didnt bother me as wev just sort of looked at it as "shit happens"

but yeah the gti was nice.....for the whole 8 days i owned it.....was a kick in the balls.iv never owned a motor iv liked as much....toatally mint,totally standard,never seen rain,one owner from new,piles of history,non suroof model .

Some of these are quite shocking - that Audi blew my mind!

My first crash was in a K-reg 205 1.9D. Was doing about 45 in a 60 round a medium right-hander in the autumn a few years ago. It had been raining earlier and there were wet leaves on the road. By the time I realised what was happening, the back end was way out and I ended up on my roof in the ditch on the other side of the road. A couple of burly lads from the local garage came out to recover it. Once they'd got it righted and out of the ditch, it started first time and drove up onto the flatbed under its own power. Rad was fucked, though, and the chassis turned out to be twisted. I sold it to them for scrap and called it quits. Wasn't worth claiming on the insurance. No pics, unfortunately; this was a few years before I got my first digital camera or camera phone.

Second was me rear-ending an Almera at a roundabout while driving my P-reg Punto 55 SX. I came round a corner to see the Almera waiting at the roundabout with brake lights on. As I approached (going about 25mph, 30 limit) her brake lights went out and I saw the rear of the car dip as if she was moving off so I kept going. Then I saw a car coming quite fast from the right and at the same time the Almera's brake lights came back on. Again it had been raining earlier and the road surface was damp. That and my cheap-ass hard compound tyres meant that by the time I dropped the anchor, the Punto just kept going.

Looks very minor but the crossmember was bent, headlights cracked and mounting points broken, bumper cracked, bothwings twisted, and a matching dent on the other side of the bonnet. Insurance company said it wasn't worth repairing and sent me a cheque for half the value while I kept driving it. Traded it in for the other half of the value soon after and bought an '04 Mazda 6 hatchback. Lovely car. Hit a rabbit on a country and road and cracked the bumper, though. Got a new one painted in the same colour on eBay for a tenner , just haven't got round to fitting it yet.

No drama of my own in our Polo, but my wife has had nearly every panel resprayed over the years: various low-speed bumps into static objects (like the wall of our own house FFS); lost an argument with a 4x4 over who should be in which lane on a roundabout; left the shiny faceplate on the aftermarket stereo and got broken into. After trying to crowbar the passenger door, the nice people smashed the window and then scratched all the panels down that side of the car.

oh what a night, left my house to get to my g.f's house for 6:00, we left but we noticed the traffic was terrible..... so we decided to go a diff way to bring us out on to the road we always go on to to get home.... all was going fine till we can to a set of traffic lights... was was stoping and this guy decided to put his breaks on a bit hard so i breaked and u know no harm done just a really crap driver... well wait till the lights went green and we get onto a dual carriage way were u can reach 50/60mph... so were going along the guys in fornt ( Same car that made me break suddenly) getting near the top to another set of lights and the guy puts his indicator on to go into the left lane... so now I'm coming up on the next lane he noticed that the lane he was in had more cars init then the lane we was both orginally in so he put is indicator to go into the right lane but because i was coming up about 50 in my lane he tryed to quickly to turn into my lane he ended up cutting me up i slamed on my breaks skidded, took breaks off managed to control it then i was like shit I'm nearlly ova the other side of the road and theres cars comming down ( and they go some speed ) so i applyed breaks again and they locked up and i had no choice but to go into the lampost..... we hit the 1st one took it up along with the contreet which went underneth us which took us up in the air a bit skidded some more and hit another lampost and stoped...... ambulance and poilce said i was luckly not to had fliped ova and ended up on the other side of the road onto incomming traffic or they said id prob be dead right about now.... so my quick/panic thinking saved our lifes so I'm glad i hit the damn lamposts... but my cars a rightoff ( VW Polo 1.4CL ) *also said luckly thats also a hevi car or u would of deff of fliped*

my exact words 50 yards from the corner "let me out, we are gunna fuckin crash"

so unplugged my seat belt, expecting to slow down, we didnt, he cornerd to right, slid round straight into a driveway post, i crushed him form behind and the choke stuck in his knee lol had to have a fair few stiches.

and to be honest i didnt feel bad at all

i climbed out and mutterd "told you we were gunna bloody crash"

You think thats bad? My best mate at college rolled his corsa into a field a few times mildly missing tree. Got it recovered, got a courtesy car, then rolled that a few days later. Obviously they wouldn't give him another car so his girlfriend was driving him around and then she crashed her car pretty badly and got taken off to hospital - all of that within a space of two weeks!!

Not sure if its bad luck or bad driving. Think i have a pic of the corsa somewhere...

if you see the pics of my crashed 205...look down till you see the one of the sunny when it was complete......in the background you will see a 205 which is powered by a turbo'd mi16 lump.....some of my car was used to build that...my box,fuel tank,footery wee bits

its fast....but its still french
