My friend had a lucky escape last year. Very narrow bit of road, a bus came round a corner on his side of the road and hit him head on. Went under the front of the bus bringing the dash down on his legs. Broke both bones in one leg, had to be cut out. He's not driven since.

Well saying that... I have. Cracked the grill and smashed a wing mirror but not ruined anything serious touch wood.

My mate was in the back left of this car, had to be cut out of the wreckage as you can see... he escaped with whiplash at most. Was pretty fukin lucky I do believe!! Unfortunately the guy at the back right broke his back among other things, and got out of hospital after about half a year. Guy driving was speeding and lost control as you can guess. My mate actually believes in god now!!
