I'd never came across another 6N with a smoothed bay and thought I'd be different and do it. Can't believe after that myself and someone else are doing it with the same engine and carbs on it lmao.

Looks really well. What colour you doing the bay?

macann will finish first by far coz i have a lot of things to still get for the car and loads of things to get chromed on the engine also got shit loads of stuff to polish.

filler work is still to be finished, only just finished plating up today, bulkhead needs tacking up and filling so macann will be finished way way way before lol

yeah i had the same thought about smoothing the bay no other 6n has it, great minds think alike lol

the bay is going to be blue same as the car engine bottom end will be painted blue and the rest chromed and polished.

You using Hyabusa carbs? They are like 50mm chokes or summat, way too big for 1.4... I'd of thought, be a pain to get to run right....

no there xjr 1300 carbs mate, rang bog brothers about them to see if they was ok for the engine and they said there fine, i'm gunna get a manifold made by them and get them to set um up too.

the pot size is about 42mm i think line up sweet with my cylinder head couldn't of chose a better set up of carbs really.

Ah cool 42mm should be ok, there manifolds are well made but fook me they can charge! I had them make mine for my old XE with R1 carbs, £285 including rejetting the carbs..... I made my own one this time for about £30.... not quite as pretty tho.
