  • i know what you mean with the filler mate i do it myself, i tend to do it more when weather is a bit cold so it goes off quicker but i hate it when your just in the middle of a skim and it sets it pis

  • Can't wait to see it once you've got it all finished, paint job looks brilliant you've certainly got skills, are you bringing it to the Polo Show

:o this is epic. Just spent over an hour reading through this thread and your car is easily in my top dubs ever :) huge fan! :-D

I bet your arms are killing you form sanding down that bay !

I'm just in the process of helping my mate smooth the bay on his Mk1 and relocating pretty much everything .

My arms are fooked and we used a DA for majority of the hard graft

I can't really say more than whats been said. 'Nuff said!

cheers guys. yeah arms are usually fooked but the lack of skin left on my fingers poses more of a problem lol just really looking forward to getting it done and back on the road, alot to do yet tho.

Spanner rash FTW!

Spanner rash FTW!

He means when your sanding filler especially the initial corse grit it fooks your fingers , Especially your thumb i find .

Hence me using a Da with a very small flexible head makes light work of the inital sanding 8-)

ah right i see, yes it does fook your fingers great if your a chav in the robbing buiness don't leave any finger prints lol

looking epic mike. great job on the block, bays gonna look ace too mate. well done.
