looks like quite a big oil filter, is it just the angle or is it a non genuine one?

i've stripped all the old paint and rust off these and had both the subframe and anti rollbar powder coated

yes without a doubt it will but thats why i have welded some scratch plates on the bottom lol :-D

after busting a subframe on the polo and recently on my mk2 i've did this as well. you continuing your build over winter or gona have it out before then?

it will be over winter mate as i haven't even sprayed the car or bay yet then i gotta get the engine in and running the interior needs doing and a whole lot more little things to do.

this weekend hopefully gunna get the car out the garage and start stripping it down ready for the paint also going to bogg brothers to get manifold made for the carbs.

it's not going bad when i get time/funds to work on it. I'm currently trying to get my dizzy sorted as teh guy sent me the wrong one and my manifold is being welded by a friend for free

I'll be sorting out a few bits of the body work and changing things about.

I have it you haven't had it running yet then?? i'd mine running but the carbs were shite and pissing fuel everywhere so i changed them for ZX7R ones and had to change my manifold.

no ain't had mine running yet but should be ok, the bike carbs are off a 2007 xjr 1300 and haven't been used much practically brand new.

i can't wait to get the engine started just to hear the sound.

picked this up on friday afternoon and bolted it on. ummmmm

bogg brothers told me the size of these carbs will give me around 25 - 30 bhp more so looking at around 150bhp with fast rd cams and exhaust :-D

thanks guys its slowly coming on but will get there soon enough

had a little tinkle lastnight with some metal and tryed making some brackets for the strutbrace and as it turns out it went well, the brackets are tacked on in place and the brace is bolted in, looks really good but needs finishing will get pix up on weekend of it when its finished.
