Hi Chris,

The clocks look spectacular!!!

That's one of my new kits I've put together I'm very pleased with the LED's. :unibrow:

Did you get the switch LED's in the post?

If anyone is interested in these kits PM me. :-D

Cheers,

Polo M

(Mahbs)

POLO M is the man if you want LED's for your clocks (There you go a free plug for you Mahbs :p)

yea they 17's with about a 20mm drop, theres just enough room for me to get my finger between the arches and tyre on them. Although there a bit to big as i want to go slightly lower, so probably to 16's

dials look kool

i like the clocks but the kit is over the top for my liking! but everyone is different! :-) nice jpb

Cheers Black magic,

Your's looks sweet too, Only thing with the euro look is everyones doing it, and it reminds me of Saxo's and Corsa's.

Thats just my thoughts though

Not a major fan at all, clocks look good though!

bawahahahahahahhaha

is the kit off ebay? i was looking at that its like 300 quid for the lot isnt it?

Yea was something like that, but i made my money up on spraying it, as someone hit my car and i got it done courtesy of insurence company.

In fact put the side skirts on last nite

thought so it looks cool, was concidering getting it actually! does it fit ok? good quality?

Yea Really good quailty, didnt need any smmothing really before spraying. Fitted straight on, just drilled you own holes. Only problem, was that it took Focking ages to get here ( just over a month) and then when it did side skirts were missing and had same wait again. That and little dammage to corners from travel, nothing that bit of filler couldnt sort out.

I think the whold kit looks great, but I know that view varys. just need to lowere car now, to give it a better stance ( 17's off 16's on)

Chris

Not digging the lexus lights, but the rest of the car's pretty cool actually.

You've not been afraid to be different, that's cool.

Did the bumper come with that mesh included? It really completes the look of the bumper.

Edited by petrolh34d

To be honest I'm going off them to now, thinking somthig like LED hella lights or something.

There was mesh includexd but it was nasty "sports" mesh so I paid extra for the "GTI style" mesh.

I think it looks good, as you siad its different, and stands out, like me except I'm short so you dont normally see me in a crowd

However I'm having issues with my car at the moment, as I think the gear box has gone again. 3 months after new (2nd hand 44k miles) went in

Chris

clocks look well nice might av to do it in my car lol

Dont like hats, messes up my hair

Cheers for comments

haha

i love the clocks! will have to look into them. I must say only real problem is the wheels, my preference is small alloys on polos! but each to there own. Other than that nice job mate, i would say take it to some feild and get better quality pics and would change peoples opinions :-)

Personally i just think the whole car looks ruined, yeah its different and fair play but it just reminds me of Nike TN's and burberry hats

Sorry, but i'm going to have to agree. The styling reminds me of that back in 2001, sorry dude.

Updated Pictures, with full bodykit on, lowered a little more and all made sparkly with lots of water, shampoo, claybar and polish

:lol::lol: Oh Dear!

Each to their own i suppose

get smaller alloys and decent alloys and it will look sick!

i quite like the front bumper

Sorry but i dont like it. Only the dials...

i really do think it could work if you were to try some smaller wheels and get it lower........

  • 3 weeks later...

Pic form Rolling Road

Not bad came back at 77BHP ( up from standard 60)

What mods you done then?

  • 4 weeks later...

different wheels & you would have a lovely polo there

people hum & ha about that front bumper, but i think its something different

i always toyed with the idea of getting that front bumper & doing something crazy & completely different...
