Anyone expanded/replaced the mk3 (mk2f) fusebox?

Just had a thought as I've got three inline fuse holders rattling about in my battery tray already and one day might make up a new headlight loom which would need yet another one... IIRC all the fuses are used in the current fusebox, so has anyone used a different one or expanded it? I guess it would be a lot of work unless all the looms would plug into another vag fusebox?

From what I think I've seen of the odd (mk2) golf in the scrappy they use blade fuses and they're under the dash somewhere?

Anyway just a thought really for if I ever have nothing better to do.
