i THINK that the rarer metal ones came on the mk1 golf campaigns. I think all the other ones do too apart from the flat ones. They came on the later mk2 Psluts.

The second ones aren't indented they are raised letters.

People pay daft money for them, I paid £40 for a set of Pirellis with them on, someone bought the centres for £80 and I sold the wheels on for £40. w00t!

I'd over looked that so i guess 4 types now then. Did you have the raised letter ones? Do those ones fit with out the plastic attachments?

I like to think of what you did there as 'dub-business-skills'.

Yeah mine had raised lettering.

If you want the ones with Pirelli on them but without having to pay extra/searching for them you could always buy the plain ones then get someone with a vinyl cutter to do you a set of Pirelli logos.

Yeah good shout, although I quite like the simply look of the plain caps to be honest....

Just funny as of right now they seem the hard ones to find.

I know somebody with the first metal types ones and the plastic pirelli indented ones, always the way a.

I may have some plain ones in the house, not sure though.

I know I have one at least and a full set of the plastic ones with the raised letters.

Thing with centre caps is, you always lose them if they aren't in use

Have a rumage dude and let me know what you've got, i may have the raised letter ones out of impatience as then the ones i want will turn it. Usually happens that way.

Picking the wheels up 2moro lunch hopefully, fancy some matt black p's with red highlights for winter wheels.

Scene lover.

'Wheel' see!

Well I'm planning on doing mine in a gloss white, not got any centres though, so I'm also on the lookout. I'm not paying silly money for them though, I'd rather go without! lol. £80 is very steep for some non-essential caps!! Good business sense ;)

I've got a set of plain 'ol plastic centres somewhere, and they're in gloss white too.

then again, i might have chucked them out. I always preferred P-slots without the centre caps anyway.

Would you mind having if look if you've still got them? Wheels are getting a pro refurb so colour is no biggy.

Iv got a full set of them too on my unrefurbed p slots. They look so much better with centre caps IMO.

Is this the look you were going for??...

Very much the look i think i'm taking, contemplating maybe a red/blue stripe round the rim instead of a polished/diamond cut lip.

I have 4 of the caps from the 1st option, the plain plastic types. u have pm.

pm'd you back.

Told you this was confusing or maybe its just late in the day for me.

[mid santana lowering break]

Too late already bought some, plus i've not seen a set of turbines go for less than 140 lately and that beats my wheel buying rule of thumb.

i.e. never pay more than £60 for a set of wheels. So far on my sixth set and going strong.
