Your going to need at least to do TB3. It will drain your standard battery in a matter of minutes with the engine off and playing full whack. So your probably going to need a bigger battery aswell. Alternator should be fine, but do go putting your heated rear on, and have your wipers full with the blower on no. 4, thats a big-ish load as it is, never mine adding 100A draw from the amp on top lol

whats a tb3?

hmm, so a BIG battery is the main thing then.

I'm with scott on this, whats tb3? and what battery do you people reccomend?

if you want a really good sorce of power you will need a optima yellow top there really good battries for audio because they are low cranking amps and dont drop vaultage.

thats what i will be using in my install two of em or maybe just one 7.5 ltr, i defo recommend them.

so anyways what kind of sound are you looking for loud bass or clear music and just some good bass?????

ah thanks man.

basically after pure low hard deep bass which also is loud. haha.

how much are those batteries?

well them yellow tops will inprove the bass alone. they give the power to the amp and makes it sound alot better it is defo worth getting one just think of what its gunna do for your system.

i've got a 10" kicker solox in a 2cft sealed box and thats loud, i would say it was louder than 2 or 3 12" audiobahn's its 5000 watts at peak and 2500 rms power on a 1500 watt kicker zx amp. i dunno if i have posted any pix of it on here i'll post some tomoz if you wanna see it

thought i may as well do it now

Right if your wanting loud noise dont think you need to be going big and with loads of speakers and everything like that mate ok, because you dont.

The one rule in audio that you always need to remember and basically you should only ever think about, is this:

Quality over Quantity

If you can find quality components and quality amps to run these components then the skys your limit mate. I love the way JL Audio products sound, so i always rate them. A lot of people have their own preferences to what they love.

Theres a huge difference between being loud and being clear, its all well and good making your door panels shake but if it dont sound clear mate your gonna get laughed at.

Yea you can always buy a Yellow Top which is never a bad thing. You should always up to 4 guage imho, if not 0 guage. Which is what i run ;)

Look dont go for the loudest sub and the biggest amp for the cheapest money, look around for qulity products at quality prices. If you buy cheap then you gonna sound cheap ok.
