meh, it'll be alright, just weld them in! maybe it'll not look exactly like that, but thats the look i'm gonna go for. A nice Phat slammed audi estate

You can pick a normal A6 up for around 2500 these days mate, so you aint got too much to save!

I want a 52> car

Ideally a 1.9 or 2.5 TDI sport or SE

With the leather and that!

Been looking and they're around the 6-7k mark.

Dont get a 2.5 mate, they are shit, when they go wrong they cost mega buck's- the diesel pump alone is £1300!

Plus they are noisey and pretty slow for what they are.

I'm a tech at audi by the way so i know how poo they are! 1.9 is much better

My dad's got the 1.9 passat. In the last month its had an injector (£400 ea brand new) a brake light switch (£20) and a clutch and flywheel (£450) and a Driveshaft

But other than that its been a sound car. lol. it's coming up to 100k though on a 53 plate.

get an RS6 mate!! just shoot the wife drown the kids burn down the house and claim on the insurance. should have enough pennies then to buy one

>>>runs out to the shed for shotgun and matches!

I'm driving a 2.4 30v V6 Audi A6 Avant just now. If you like more than 25mpg average get a diesel! I really like it. I didn't think I'd ever be one for big soft estate cars but I love driving it. Wafting along on an effortless wave of torque is such a nice experience. Bit of a bargain too...cost new £30k...1 owner, FSH and 90k on the clocks...came in at £4k.

is it yours or your parents? just curious my dad had one of those for a while it was pretty nice - but then again I love big barges!

My dad bought it earlier in the year. Luckily for me he popped me on the insurance in August. I've been using it most days as he's got a car from work + our Focus to drive about in. I've been avoiding the Focus like the plague since sampling the delights of bavarian comfort.

The idea of buying big engined luxury cars appeals to me now. You can often get them for very little money...and the fuel bills aren't too bad. My latesr fancy in a 740i M-Sport. 4litre V8...prob. does about 20mpg...but you can pick them up for £4-6k with about 90-100k on the clock...bargain! 4.4 Audi A8's come in at just under £10k.

Why do you want a barge like that? Your only like 18 or something aren't you? Thats the kind of car an old bloke would get

I wouldn't mind a passat estate as a middle aged man car :) Slammed and debadged.

Old bloke cars FTW...

...then when you are older get something young and sporty...

Makes sense to me?

nice its good to get a bit of comfort for a while, plus anything feels big and luxurious after driving a polo

I don't see a reason why not to get one to be honest? It's alot more practical than a small hatch, it's quick and good on juice. Everyone's a winner. Plus when i finally decide to have a wife/kids/dog, I can still keep it! Because even a playa like me's gotta settle down at some point.
