have to agree there. Dont get me wrong, your car has alot of work done to it, but I dont think its 'scene' enough to be part of edition38 elite.

polos will always struggle as it was just a back-burner project by VW. :angry:

Yes , if it is Stratos theres 5 different shades of it so only get a sample mix 1st otherwise it can be expensive. There is the standard shade, then 2 darker and 2 lighter. Mine was the L1 shade.

Right. Best get a few computers to have a go at telling me what colour they think it is first. No stickers in the boot :-(

Thing is i have brochures for the Polo coupe, yrs '84 and '86.. and the only option in blue then was comet.. which it definately is not. Mines '87 and looks very similar to the colour your saloon was... but, it almost has a purple sheen to it when you look along it.

The log book is hugely descriptive.. "Blue"
