does anyone know if the standard (older) 8v wiring within the car (for the clocks etc) is the same as the wiring for the newer 16v clocks. will it go straight in and work perfectly of the exisiting loom, or will i need to switch some wires around? (i'll be changing the engine to a 16v so no worries about correct mph etc showing.)

any help is appreciated
