cheers guys!

Mattbirkin - they are yellow bulbs.... not sure if you can get them anymore as they were in my dads garage for the past 20 years as he used to buy them every time we were in Germany lol.... try german ebay maybe?

Fronts cant go down any further atm as they are on their lowest setting.. but the helper spring is still there so could take that out if i want... just gunna let it settle properly first and see where she sits after that...

Really happy with the coilies.... the ride isnt too compromised which is good for me living out in the sticks!

Think i got them for £400 delivered after offering them a few lower amounts so try your luck and see what they will sell them for...

Ah i think i know which one you mean, they are bigger than the one i have right?

Was it on the back of the blue coupe that got 3rd place too?

I've got one on the back of my mk2, you can still buy both front and rear from vw classic parts in germany.

yeah thats the size..... they are mazda wheels i got out of my neighbours skip lol

the center hole was a bit bigger than the center on the hub so my dad made up a spiggot type thing that stopped the wheel sitting down if that makes sense?

Ok long tim no update!

Not much has happened really, i fixed all the things that needed fixing... then I managed to get a job and everything was all hunky dory until my birthday when my back box decided to fall off my exhaust!!

So to keep me on the road my dad found his old b3 passat exhaust end pipe and stuck it on the end.... it sounded slightly chavy but hey... at least i could still drive it...

Then finally last night i dropped it off at a place in bournemouth and came home to find it with this:

A full stainless powerflow system, cat is gone at last but still got a centre box coz I'm not into loud exhausts... just cheeky rasssspy ones...

I am now one happy Kat!

So much so i even went out after dinner and gave her a wash down.... got a bit dark tho as you can tell from the pics lol

:D

Kat, have you got any pictures of how the sunroof was installed?

Was the roof strengthened at all?

Its something I've always wanted to do, some sort of openair. But I'm too scared to start cutting giant holes in my roof without some sort of idea how to go about making it all work lol.

Nice to see it looking so clean still, and the exhaust is pretty smart.

Well seeing as I've been a bit quiet on the posting front, I thought I'd get a few pics to remind everyone how the polo currently looks!

Got another update for you since the last... which was quite a while ago!

Polo hasn't changed much but now i have finally got the mohair roof in with matching lining on the inside (beetle throughout now!), got rid of my temporary (been there for the past 3 years) black duck tape around the wing mirrors, and fitted my birthday present from 3 years ago which was a BMC GT badge to the front grill.... oh and added a slimline white wall too.

This wasn't a sudden injection of inspiration that got me to sort these bits out, i had to do it coz it was my wedding car 2 weeks ago!! So i had to get it all spruced up for the big day obviously :)

I was planning on having my other classic car as my car but I'm in the middle of resorting it and there was no way i could get it finished in time, but also I've owned the Polo for 10 years this year (still my first car) so in a way it was fitting for it to be the last car I'm in before i become a Mrs!!

Anyway, the pics are below... enjoy :)
