from the servo bit not really, i reckon it was 10 days of solid work including the mot and the changing of the compentsator and rear cylinders coz air was still getting in from somewhere wen we bled the brakes and decided it was them.... they work so fucking well now haha

ok no updates for a while on this one,

so here goes..

between the engine gettin put in and now...

the car was dented, repaired....ish...

front indicator side lights wired in, with led side lights all round.

also tried a set of castalettes on her to see what i thought..i liked...

and also ordered a set of Spax inserts for the front shockers to stiffen them up.

and a set of retro fit coilovers.

these will all be fitted this weekend, so the car will hopefully have new nose dive stance, like a hot rod or air cooled machine.

But after all that the coilies weren't all they could be... so thinkin more into that one.... so have to wait for the pics of them..

as for the castalettes..... heres the pics of them

and i put new shorter spax inserts on to the car... has made it slightly lower and a hell of a lot stiffer...

and hopefully around crimbo time have some nice refurbed wheels too.

Got to be one of the best practical mk2 Polo Breadvans on here. Looks great - the best shape Polo ever don'cha know?! - (plus mine's red too!), drive's great, with good performance, economy and sensible mods. Niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiice!

lol wow thanks for the comments guys and breadman...... u havnt seen the rolling road print out yet.... best power to rate ratio of the day was the polo and that was against a 240 bhp rallye, a passat g60 syncro, a mk2 golf vr6 and a few other mk2 gti's hahaha.... awesome no?!

i will a get pic of the rolling road print out just to show u lot that miles mean jak on the performance of an engine, the gt lump is almost at 150 thousand and still pulling strong....

and hoppy i have plans for the castalettes... watch this space!

Worked out the polo's got 70 horses at the wheels and about 90 at the fly, not bad at all for a standard one aye!!

But no pics of the new stance as of yet, my driveway was packed with 2 pre 1950 motors, 2 caravans, 2 audis, a polo a bmw mini and a caravanette and only 2 arnt the households lol so cudnt get a decent pic....

plus i didnt get the chance to clean it so maybe tomoz depending on the weather!

They are damn heavy, same as the passat almost and i guess the other thing that helped is that the reading of the rallyes one was wrong coz the passat broke the rollers before the rallye lol so techically didnt have a proper run haha.....

I just hold on to the fact that out of the cars that had a clear run the polo had that best power to weight ratio lol

Over crimbo i had to wait for my present from Griggs as the gay post delayed it.....

So a few weeks into the new year he finally bought my present round

It was originally from a mini and found in some guys garage.. probably older than i am so it was obvious that it needed a clean up

The pictures dont do it justice but the autosole has worked a treat... now all i need is a boss!
