It can come down alot depends on theft risk i think that cat 1 i said has the option of anti hi jack whitch will work if some 1 robbs your keys out the house easyest way of geting keys these days int it. :disgust:

I dunno lol but I know it does help..Looking to get one in the new year anyways 8-)

Right then.. seems people buy car alarms so they can either

1. Remote start thier car

2. Or be paged / text to be told someone is stealing your car!

and "Because cheap alarms break and leave your car immobilised"

Anything can break.. but I kinda understand THAT point of it but not really...

What’s wrong with you? We know why we want to buy a car alarm it's pretty obvious actually! Also what’s the whole point of your post? ^^^

Just trying to work out why people shed out on money for an alarm when they all do the same thing?

Just a question...

Isn't it better to get a steering wheel lock and a alarm system.

Can you imagine if the alarm goes off and the thief has to think about getting through the steering lock.

That is going to pressurize him/her.

If you have a pager system too and put a little note on the dash telling him/her that you will be down in 5 minutes that should do the trick.

You will have to bring down a bucket of water and some cloths as the thief potentially might have shit him self on your seat in the process of trying to steal the car.
